On 10 May, Xagħra Square will be hosting Friday Night Fever, promising an evening of timeless music, vibrant energy, and disco-inspired fun. Open to all, 'Friday Night Fever' invites music lovers of every generation to come together for an unforgettable celebration of ’70s hits. Whether you're a fan of disco classics or simply looking for a night of entertainment, this event is not to be missed.

From soulful ballads to funky anthems, attendees will be treated to an unforgettable musical experience by a talented line-up of local artists on stage, consisting of Jolene Samhan and Band, Sean Kamati, Joseph Refalo and DJ Alex Grech.

Jolene Samhan is known for her hit singles 'February 1st' and 'All In You'. She is a local singer and songwriter, whose soulful voice and captivating stage presence are sure to mesmerize the audience. Sean Kamati is a dynamic performer known for his appearances on X Factor Malta. His unique style and magnetic stage presence promise to captivate audiences and get them grooving to the beat.

Joseph Refalo has been entertaining audiences in Xagħra since his youth. With his recent upbeat release, 'Move', and his participation in various festivals both locally and abroad, Joseph will be bringing his passion for music and performance to Friday Night Fever. Finally, DJ Alex Grech is renowned for his 80s 'Reflex' parties and radio programs. With his infectious energy and eclectic mix of tunes, he's guaranteed to keep the dance floor alive all night long.

Xaghra square is no stranger to entertainment and delectable culinary options. “Culture and quality concerts such as Friday Night Fever provide entertainment and relaxation for the entire family.

These events also serve as a showcase of what our town has to offer, both for tourists and Maltese visiting Gozo,” explains Xagħra Mayor Aaron Agius.

In the spirit of the era, attendees are encouraged to dress in 70s disco attire and get ready to dance the night away beneath the stars. Friday Night Fever is a free event organised by the Xagħra Local Council with the support of the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning.
