This is against the rules, and Depiro were awarded a walk over victory, which leaves them with a slim hope of making the Play Offs, if the rest of the matches, in the top division, will turn out in their favour....

Hibs had beaten Athleta in their two previous meetings, in the Shield semi-final and the league, but this time Athleta were the victors, as they controlled their opponents, with full court pressing. The Paolites were unable to co-ordinate their play, as Athleta eventually played all eight players at the disposition of coach, Sasa Dimitrijevic. ...

The match was postponed, at the start of the new year, and a new date for it could only be found weeks later. It had Luxol assuring themselves of a placing in the three team Play Offs, having the better of Depiro, for the fourth league meeting between the two sides, and leaving them stranded at the bottom of the pile....

Hibs kept in touch with the higher regions of the standings, by beating off a stiff Depiro challenge, for their seventh league success. They also left Depiro languishing in the nether regions, with only two league wins. Depiro were in contention for most of the match, but fell away in the last quarter, as Hibs broke through, to claim their victory....
