Apart from selecting winners, the competition will also choose the photographs which will be exhibited in the categories: colour slides, colour prints and monochrome prints.

There are also special prizes for the best experimental work, best shot with a local theme and also for the best portrait. All entries must reach the premises of the Malta Photographic Society at 137 Old Bakery Street, Valletta, on Monday 12 April or Tuesday 13 April.

As in previous years, the Malta Photographic Society will be using the services of a foreign judge, who will be judging the photographs together with two local photographers. The exhibition will take place at the hall of Heritage Malta in Republic Street, Valletta.
