The Next three volumes of Kullana Kulturali published

This series builds up into an encyclopaedia of Maltese culture presented by Pubblikazzjonijiet lndipendenza to the nation Ð a monumental task that involves the best modern authors, scholars and professionals, all experts in their field and all contributing to a comprehensive definition of the national identity.

PIN is actively engaged in defining traditions and achievements, and describing the social and historical environment of the Maltese nation. It is a useful undertaking, in the light of the EU, that will eventually become a store of local culture Ð an encyclopaedia that future generations will definitely appreciate.

This is the technical and social history of the development of the Maltese book in different forms, and the descriptions are accompanied by expert explanations. The pictures that emerge from these descriptions are discussed and analysed in their own perspective.
