Joseph Gauci, on behalf of J.G. Management Consultancy Ltd, signed the letter against Mr Micallef. He explained that, according to a contract Mr Micallef signed on 24 January 2003, he had to pay the company 10 bills of exchange of Lm3,000 each. These were not paid and have now expired.

As a result, Mr Micallef lost his right to a further four bills of exchange of Lm3,000 each. This amounted to Lm42,000.

The company called on Mr Micallef to pay the amount he owes and warned him that if he ignored the official letter, the company will take further legal action against him.
