Charlot Camilleri, 24 and Felix Caruana, 23 both from Zurrieq were accused of stealing a Vauxhall Nova from Birkirkara in 2003, to the detriment of Charles Bianco.

Caruana alone was charged with attaching false number plates onto a car and driving it without a licence or insurance. He was also accused of breaching the conditions of a previous sentence.

The court was presided over by Magistrate Lawrence Quintano. Inspector Stephen Mallia prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused
