The congress will be discussing the priests’ work. Fifteen cardinals will be present for the congress, which will also include the participation of 300 Maltese and Gozitan priests.

The congress will open on 18 October with a concelebrated Mass.

The actual meetings will start the following day at the Mediterranean Conference Centre. In the evening, the priests will be divided according to language and will celebrate masses in different localities.

The French-speaking will be in Burmarrad, the English-speaking in Naxxar, the Italian-speaking in St Paul’s Bay and the Spanish-speaking in Mgarr.

The programme will continue on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On the last day, the congress will continue in Gozo.
