Edward Grech, Manager at Bank of Valletta’s Preluna Towers Branch and Andreana Spiteri who, during this year, formed part of the team at BOV’s Zabbar Branch and later at the Racecourse Street Marsa Branch, are the BOV Branch Manager and Branch Employee of the Year respectively. BOV’s Chief Officer Operations, Igino Xuereb, announced the winners of these two annual awards during the BOV Annual Managers’ Conference held recently.

Mr Grech’s customer orientation, commitment to BOV's strategic initiatives, together with his leadership and team building skills helped him achieve this award. Ms Spiteri, on the other hand, was described as patient and meticulous who always performed her tasks to the best of her abilities with a deep sense of responsibility.

Following the announcement, BOV chairman, Roderick Chalmers and BOV’s CEO, Tonio Depasquale, presented the winners with a handmade glass memento, as well as an Award Shield on which their name is engraved. Mr Chalmers thanked and congratulated Edward Grech and Andreana Spiteri for their commitment and the valid contribution they have given to Bank of Valletta over the past year.
