Futsal League: Five Teams with maximum points

No less than 97 matches were played so far in the Futsal League organised by the Malta Football Association. Five teams have so far maintained a hundred per cent record.

In the First Division Section A, Air Malta Cabin Crew lead the table with maximum points from four matches, followed by last season’s champions Serbia and El Mundos on six. Both have a game in hand.

In Section B, Swing Kids won their first three matches but they are expected to have a good challenge from Hibernians and Liverpool Supporters Club.

Konica Minolta Gunners lead the standings in the Second Division Section A after claiming maximum points from the first three matches. On the other hand, in Section B, Zurrieq FC won the the three matches played so far. They lead by three points over Juvenis Aluserv and Zurrieq Old Boys.

The team of Net Television’s reality show Net Stars won an impressive five matches out of five and lead the table in the Third Division Section A. In their last outing, they managed to beat Cool Boys 3-2, a team who had claimed maximum points before this match.

In Section B, it is a most balanced affair with Korol, ECB FC, Babylonia and KM PHS standing more or less on the same level. Fugazi 5, Olimpia 5 Thermaseal and Central Bank lead the table with 9 points in Section C but Lazio Supporters Club are just two points behind.

Section D is also very close with only a couple of points seperating Energizer Boys, Southsiders, Vittoriosa Stars and Pumas.
