More than 300 BOV young savers were recently entertained by their mascot, the popular Cikkurillu, during an event held in the Birzebbuga primary school hall.

Cikkurillu distributed gifts to all children present with the help of Abby and Slippy the clowns. During the party the children were asked to colour in a drawing of Cikkurillu and prizes for the best drawings were awarded to Gianluca Lia and Annalise Farrugia.

Charles Vassallo, manager of BOV’s Birzebbuga Branch, said “This event was organised by the BOV Young Savers Club to provide an enjoyable experience to the children as well as to increase the awareness about the BOV Young Savers Account and to encourage savings from a very early age. The large number of children in attendance clearly demonstrates the popularity of Cikkurillu and the BOV Young Savers Account among children”.
