Bank of Valletta head of strategic planning Lawrence Micallef addressed the Right Channeling Financial Services Marketing Conference, which was recently held at the Carlton Tower Hotel in London.

The conference was organised by WBR, who are leading

producers of worldwide annual large-scale conferences for

executives.

Mr Micallef's presentation focused on the latest CRM techniques which are currently being deployed to extract the highest possible return on investment. The BOV system makes use of a customer-centric data warehouse to ensure that the bank provides the best financial solutions to its customers.

The two-day conference was attended by senior executives from the financial services industry, and was addressed by 14 different speakers from around the world.

The delegates who were present at the conference scored Mr Micallef’s presentation as being above average in terms of style and content.

Following the award given by the Institute of financial services (UK) to BOV for the most innovative CRM system, the bank was contacted by a number of organisations who were seeking to learn more about BOV’s

innovative strategy.

Mr Micallef is, in fact, scheduled to address another

conference in Dubai in February.
