Malta Independent Thursday, 20 January 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

The increased demand for property in Valletta, has prompted Dhalia to open an office in the capital city. Situated in Old Bakery Street, the Dhalia office will be managed by one of the company’s experienced senior consultants, Liana Loporto.

Dhalia’s strategy in Valletta will be to increase its property database in the city, offering its customers a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and investment properties.

Speaking about the setting up of a Dhalia office in Valletta, Ms Loporto said that, “apart from being a world heritage city, Valletta is a unique historical gem which boasts of some of the most majestic palatial and residential properties on the island. Over the past few years, Valletta has attracted huge capital investment from both government and private investors which has revitalised the city and created a new demand for property. This demand is set to increase with the development of the Valletta Waterfront project.”

The decision to open a Valletta office stems from the increased demand for exclusive properties in Valletta by both local and overseas investors. For the Valletta office Dhalia will be adopting a distinctive strategy based on building customer relations and adopting a more personalised approach. The marketing approach will also be different in that it will reflect the unique characteristics of Valletta.

Franco Valletta, chairman and CEO, congratulated Ms Loporto on her new appointment and said that “we are extremely satisfied to see our property consultants moving up the career ladder. This enforces Dhalia’s commitment to provide career opportunities for its employees and associates. However it is important to point out that new career opportunities are the result of the company’s investment and rapid growth.”
