Malta Independent Sunday, 30 January 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

The five-star Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort and the four-star Coastline Hotel have been awarded the Marque of Excellence Award by Thomas Cook UK through customer recognition of exceedingly high standards of service and quality of accommodation.

These awards are achieved following the seasonal cumulative results from customer satisfaction questionnaires in which both the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort and the Coastline Hotel scored very high points, as well as experiencing very low complaint ratios.

An award presentation ceremony was held at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort recently during which Samuel Mifsud, director of SMS, local agent of Thomas Cook UK together with Sean Cachia, Gateway Manager of Thomas Cook UK, presented awards to Trevor Zahra, director of Leisure Sales, Island Hotel Group, Raphael Cauchi, general manager of the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort and Ernest Barry, general manager of the Coastline Hotel.

On receiving the awards, Island Hotels Group managing director Winston V. Zahra said he was very happy that the properties within the group have once again achieved the highest levels of guest satisfaction with Thomas Cook UK Guests. ‘We put a great deal of effort into training and constant monitoring to ensure that we deliver the highest possible standards of service in all our properties. The fact that once again we have received these awards is a credit to the efforts made by all the staff in the group.’
