Vodafone Malta Limited’s election results service, provided by MaltaMedia News, will provide comprehensive coverage of developments during the Local Council elections. Following the end of voting on Saturday, Vodafone customers will be able to obtain information on turnout and follow the results of individual localities as these are issued by the Electoral Commission.

In order to receive information on the results of the Local Council election taking place this Saturday, Vodafone customers have to send an SMS containing the specific three letter code for the locality in which they are interested in to 50902060. Vodafone will reply with an SMS containing the latest information on that particular locality. Each SMS request to Vodafone election results service costs 5 cents inclusive of VAT.

The codes for the localities in which elections will take place on Saturday are: Valletta-VAL, Senglea (Isla)-ISL, Zebbug -ZEB, Balzan-BAL, Dingli-DIN, Fontana -FON, Ghajnsielem-GHJ, Ghasri-GHS, Iklin-IKL, Kirkop-KIR, Mellieha-MEL, Mqabba-MQA, Nadur-NAD, Pembroke-PEM, Qrendi-QRE, San Giljan-GIL, St Paul’s Bay (San Pawl il-Bahar)-PAW, Santa Venera-VEN, Ta’ Xbiex-XBI, Xewkija-XEW and Zurrieq-ZUR.
