Belair Real Estate Opens new property outlet

Belair Real Estate is currently experiencing a positive spell within its business. This is not only confirmed by the opening of its second retail outlet earlier this month at the Strand in Gzira but also through the intense activity that is currently underway within the organisation.

“The inauguration of this new office in Gzira is the result of a series of initiatives undertaken by the company throughout the past months,” says Ian Casolani, the company’s sales and marketing director.

“The opening of this outlet has helped us carry out an intense restructuring project. Our office in Sliema’s busy Bisazza Street has been in operation for 37 years, during which time Belair has established itself as one of the leaders in the letting market. This office is now mainly dedicated to the letting business of the company and therefore, we are in a position to exploit our new office in the Strand, on concentrating and enhancing our sales team in view of better handling of our core business.”

Belair’s local activity has turned out a success story for the company and connections and experience gained within the local market have served as an ideal stepping-stone for successfully targeting the foreign market. In fact Belair is also constantly developing various contacts with foreign property buyers with whom the company is in constant touch, updating them on new offers and properties in Malta and Gozo.

“We have plenty of positive experience in working with foreigners seeking to buy their second property in Malta either for holiday, retirement or even for work purposes,” explains Mr Casolani. “Through this experience, we have now established a good rapport that is ongoing and by word of mouth, we are constantly getting more new business. However, besides this ‘casual’ means of doing business, we have also recently signed new collaboration agreements with four UK property agents and other European agents with whom we are now co-ordinating a number of interesting business prospects, amongst them corporate investors looking to buy more than one property in special designated areas, and those even interested in hotels.”

Mr Casolani added “following our participated in a number of property fairs in UK and Moscow last year, we are again looking forward to our participation in another two prestigious property fairs in the UK throughout the coming months. Belair has a varied and prestigious portfolio of exclusive properties which appeal particularly to UK residents who are seeking select up market holiday homes or exclusive property for investment purposes.”

“Malta is considered as a very attractive destination primarily due to the islands’ wealth in cultural heritage and a lifestyle which appeals to affluent property seekers. Therefore, our participation in these specialized exclusive property exhibitions is an effective medium to promote outstanding properties as well as giving Malta a consistent presence in the overseas property market,” added Mr Casolani

Although Belair Real Estate employs only 12 employees, the company is well positioned to face an increasingly aggressive market. “We are aware of the huge competition in such a small market so this continuously requires us to keep fine-tuning our overall service. Notwithstanding our limitations when compared to larger property companies, we are conscious that this condition actually turns out to our favour. We are in a position to approach every client with far more attention thus turning every deal into a satisfying personal experience. We are a small team but with a big heart and a committed dedication to bring Belair to the fore,” concluded Mr Casolani.
