On Monday, a delegation of the Malta Chamber for Small and Medium Enterprise held the second meeting with parliamentary secretary Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici to discuss the white paper entitled For a more expeditious administration of justice.

The delegation discussed, in detail, aspects of the white paper which affect small enterprises and how these aspects could be improved so that small businesses would not continue suffering as a result of present and future legislation.

The GRTU raised the issue on the need for shorter and less detailed judgments which can be handed down quicker and much before the present time.

Both parties also discussed the proposals which deal with the transfer of property, particularly that of inherited property.

The GRTU said Dr Mifsud Bonnici understood all of its suggestions and promised to continue consultation with the private sector.
