The Malta Tourism Authority’s destination website www.visitmalta.com has been listed as the second-best website in a survey carried out by the Swiss travel magazine Travel Tip.

The website which came first was that of Switzerland’s own tourist office, making visitmalta.com the best website managed by a foreign tourist office.

The magazine reports that the MTA website is the “best example of how a small destination can produce an excellent website”, and also praises the MTA for answering a query only 20 minutes after it was sent.

Travel Tip is published once a year and is distributed to all Swiss travel agents, as well as at travel fairs in Zurich, Berne, Basle and St Gallen.
