Go mobile extends Wi-Fi coverage to Ta’ Qali National Stadium

Go mobile has extended its Wi-Fi service to cover Ta’ Qali National Stadium, guaranteeing optimal wireless coverage for internet access via laptops and PDAs in this area.

Go mobile has been increasing its Wi-Fi HotSpots to ensure online access from several locations on the Maltese Islands. Today, go mobile Wi-Fi HotSpots add up to 20 locations.

The National Stadium at Ta’ Qali is fully equipped to provide excellent online access, particularly in the press area, VIP boxes, TV and Radio Cubicle, VIP areas and the stadium track. Online Wi-Fi access from the stadium track provides a reliable service for local and foreign photographers who want to send photos instantly via email through their laptop in real-time using go mobile’s high speed Wi-Fi service. The service is also available from the pressrooms at the Centenary Stadium.

Today, go mobile HotSpot locations cover the Malta International Airport, the marinas at both Portomaso and St Julian’s and Mgarr harbour in Gozo, Capua St James Hospital in Sliema, the Hilton Conference Centre in St Julian’s, go mobile’s head office in Marsa and customer contact centre in Bay Street and Piazza Regina in Valletta. Wi-Fi is also available in leading hotels such as the Hilton in St Julian’s, Kempinksi San Lawrenz Resort & Spa in Gozo, Radisson SAS Baypoint Resort in St Julian’s, Waterfront Hotel in Sliema, Hotel Fortina Spa Resort in Sliema, The Xara Palace Hotel in Mdina, L-Imgarr Hotel in Gozo, The Victoria Hotel in Sliema, Corinthia San Gorg in St Julian’s and the Coastline Hotel in Salina.

Wi-Fi allows clients who own a laptop, notebook or PDA with internet browser installed to access the internet at high speed in any HotSpot location. Customers can also access their email accounts and office files via web-based company Intranet. Wi-Fi provides the solution to saving time while remaining productive, and at the same time keeping in touch with colleagues, family and friends.
