The so-much-awaited Students Sports Festival returns on campus on April 21-22 with an impressive line of up to entice any pro student-athlete or layperson in one of the sports disciplines on display.

University campus is the venue for a long list of sporting events coupled with demos, sport exhibitions and obviously live entertainment. Besides friendly competition, students will find plenty of action at the Festival Village, on campus, to wet their appetite. All sports federations have been invited on campus to show off their best at this festival and promote their sport on campus.

It all kicks off on 21 April at 9am when the Olympic torch is lit and guest speakers take their oath. Competitions take place throughout both days, between 9am and 1pm. The closing ceremony will be held on the 22 April, starting at 9pm. A full line up of live entertainment will keep the festival’s main stage on campus hopping with guest bands, including Winter Moods and Drift.

The event requires an enormous amount of preparation, organization, and volunteer assistance. Volunteers make a valuable contribution. All those interested are requested to send an e-mail to [email protected].
