The fifth edition of the Red Bull Triathlon Series 2005 gets underway on Sunday at 7.30am. This series of sprint triathlons will be part of the calendar of the Malta Triathlon Association and will be held on the Salina/Bahar ic-Caghaq Coast Road.

The sprint triathlon consists of a 750 m swim, a 20 K cycle and a 5 K run. The swim will be held at Salina Bay in front of the Coastline Hotel, while both the bike and the run segments will be held on the stretch of the Coast Road between the road leading to Naxxar and the road leading to Mghatab.

This race route will be closed for traffic by the district police between 7.30am and 9.30am.
