Pincott Security Seminar

Malta Independent Monday, 16 May 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

Pincott Security, a leading company in the security field, has organised a number of educational seminars to raise awareness on the importance of quality in this sector.

These seminars, branded as Pinpoint, highlighted the technical differences of security systems and products and targeted different industries such as insurance companies, sub-agents, architects and engineers.

“These seminars help us to educate the market on crime prevention and ensures that we keep to our promise of ensuring total customer satisfaction,” said Pincott Security managing director Anthony Tonna.

He also explained that the company has been in this business for over 33 years and although burglars have become more sophisticated, Pincott Security has maintained a 100 per cent track record in providing foolproof solutions to its clients.

Mr Tonna recalled an attempted robbery during the filming of the blockbuster movie Gladiator where the burglars were not able to force open the safe, supplied by Pincott Security, which contained almost half a million Maltese liri in cash. The high quality workmanship and safety characteristics of the safe resulted in the robbers leaving empty-handed.

During these seminars, Paul Skitt of SMP Safes, one of the leading manufacturers of safes, explained in detail the unique security features associated with the grading system of safes which meets industry standards.

Francesco Ramondino of Technoalarm gave an in-depth presentation on the advantages of the Technoalarm products such as the use of GSM technology, should the telephone line be tampered with. These alarm systems meet the highest security standards and even eliminate false alarms, an endemic problem associated with cheap kit systems. Pincott Security also provides remote check-up of these systems to its clients.

At these seminars, Pincott Security also displayed an array of security doors which are ideal for both commercial and domestic purposes. These doors manage to combine excellent aesthetics with high security and they come in a variety of colours or wood finish.

Over the years, Pincott Security has built a solid reputation on an innovative product line, boasting over a thousand security equipment items and superior customer service. Its client base includes both Maltese and foreign blue-chip clients such as financial institutions, jewellers, insurance agencies, manufacturers etc.
