HSBC Fund Management (Malta) Ltd has “broken the mould” with its new Capital Protected Accelerator Fund. The fund while affording full capital protection, offers a unique participation rate of 160 per cent of any growth in the Dow Jones EUROSTOXX 50 Index over a five year period.

The Accelerator Fund No. 1 is an innovative product and a first for the local market.

In addition to the high participation rate, it also offers investors the possibility of an early maturity after three years, should the value of the Index increase by 25 per cent or more. In this scenario, the investor will receive their original investment together with a gross return of 25 per cent (7.72 per cent per annum) at the end of month 36.

The offer period is strictly limited and will run from 9 May 2005 to 16 July 2005, or earlier if over-subscribed.

Investors who act before 4 June 2005 will also benefit from a special offer of 0.3 per cent free shares.
