On 27 May 2005, the Falzon Group of Companies celebrated its 50 year anniversary with a party held in the Grand Master’s Suite at the Hilton.

The 900 guests were treated to a unique exhibition which depicted the growth and development of the Falzon Group over the past 50 years.

This was complemented by an audio-visual presentation, giving guests a comprehensive view of the products and services offered by the group and taking a closer look at its facilities and operations.

The Falzon Group of Companies incorporates Falzon Service station Ltd, San Lucian Oil Company Ltd, Waste Oils Company Ltd, Hire & Transport Ltd and the Falzon Group Marine Division.

Falzon Group managing director Joseph Falzon thanked all the guests for attending and expressed his gratitude to the group’s employees and to his family for their support and cooperation.

A special mention was paid to his father, the founder of the Falzon Group of Companies, Spiridione Falzon: described by Mr Falzon as “An exemplary father who instilled in his children the determination and courage to work and succeed.”

President Edward Fenech Adami was presented with a limited edition memento commemorating the group’s 50th anniversary, by the group’s co-founder Helen Falzon, in the presence of the Falzon Group of Companies board of directors and Maltapost plc officials.

President Fenech Adami praised the Falzon Group for their dedication and hard work over the past 50 years, commending them for their accomplishments, and wishing them further success in the petroleum industry for many years to come.
