The Athletics Board of Birkirkara St Joseph Sports Club, in collaboration with the Birkirkara Local Council and under the auspices of the Malta Amateur Athletic Association, will be organising the third edition of the Birkirkara 5K Road Running Series 2005.

The four races in this 2005 series will be held on the 8 July, 5 August, 2 September and the final race on 13 December.

The first three races will be held on the flat route at the Ta’ Qali National Park, while the December race will be held in the club’s home town.

A prize money fund of Lm250 and trophies will be presented to the top athletes in the final classification of both the male and the female categories.

A challenge trophy will be given to the club whose athletes accumulate the best time. A commemorative T-shirt and medal will be given to all athletes applying for the four races.
