As a Maltese missionary in Brazil, I wish to heartily thank the Mission Fund of Mosta, and their collaborators, for the help I have received for our missions here.

Your generosity is an expression and a gesture of giving us support; and at the same time a persistent strive to promote the human needs of our brothers in Latin America, especially those who are in special need.

It is also a testimony of your love for the material and spiritual progress for the promotion of our community in particular. In this way, with this help we are strengthened in order to continue to work courageously “in the vineyard of the Lord”.

Your help will surely benefit especially those who are in urgent and special need.

May God, who takes care of us from above, recompense all helpers abundantly for the generosity shown to us.

May you not forget us too personally, as active missionaries, in order that God may save us from dangers especially traffic accidents. In fact, one of our colleagues, Fr Carmel Bezzina from Zebbug, was suddenly knocked down by a motorcycle last Monday (29 August) and tragically lost his life.
