Handball – Challenge Cup: Holders Moldova Easily dispose of Malta

As expected,Malta were soundly beaten by Moldova 14-41 in their second match of the Challenge Trophy being held in Dublin, Ireland.

The holders of the Challenge Trophy ran riot and Malta couldn't do much against a much stronger side and only managed 5 goals in the first half.

The second half however saw the Maltese fight for their pride as they scored more and conceded less.

Malta had achieved an astounding win by beating the Irish 27-17 in their first encounter.

Malta's next opponents are Scotland who have already lost their first two matches.They then face Azerbaijan and England.

The Maltese contingent is lead by coach Alan Grima
