Solange Jeanne, the 22-year-old girl from Zabbar who won the title of Miss World Malta will soon be competing with another 110 contestants in Warsaw.

The first weeks have been spent touring beautiful and interesting places as well as filming footage and doing photo shoots which will be used during TV coverage of the final pageant and the coronation ball. The girls were also involved in beach wear shows and talent contests.

The Miss World pageant is expected to be watched by 2.5 billion viewers on 30 September. Solange will be wearing swimsuits sponsored by Lady's secrets lingerie and boutique and a formal evening outfit made by Ernest & Gloria. The dress is in pink raw silk, tulle with a beaded fringe detail.

Lufthansa sponsored her air ticket to travel to Poland.
