The Minister for the Environment George Pullicino launched a fierce attack on the environmentalists accusing them of having a hidden agenda. I wonder why the Minister did not realise that such an attack could have grave consequences as the same attack could rebound on him, as the Minister of Environment and consequently the environmentalist par excellence.

I would like to ask the Minister, “At first sight, who appears to have a hidden agenda, those engaged in struggling to preserve the natural environment or those who pave the way for the destruction of the natural environment under the pretext of that famous word ‘sustainable’?”
