With reference to recent letters on The Malta Independent concerning the next Gozo International Celebration (GIC), the organising committee of the said event welcomes such comments and this is why we distribute a questionnaire at each event, and receive very welcomed suggestions and criticism. This is the main reason behind the innovative nature of this event and such numerous audiences.

Considering the very good response and attendance to the first three editions of the GIC (Christmas, Easter and Festa Editions) at Qala, it is the intention of the organising committee to organise a Christmas Edition on Sunday 10 December at the St Joseph Parish Church at Qala from at 6.30pm to 8pm, followed by a reception at the Mons. Mikiel F. Buttigieg Hall, at 28th April 1688 Street, in the same locality.

This event will include fresh programme items with the participation of the well-celebrated Gozitan Island Brass; both Qala choirs St Joseph and Magnificat; soloists Roxanna Xuereb and Angelo Mizzi; alto Omar Zerafa; the Tik Tak Dancers and the participation of the Qala Altar Servers.

Due consideration has been given to the many excellent suggestions and wishes of the people who attended previous editions. Attendance to the event and the reception are free of charge.

The organising committee of the Gozo International Celebration would like to thank the hundreds of families, couples and individuals for their kind comments as well as our many volunteers that have made previous editions of this event possible and highly successful.
