More than Lm1,500 has been won during the first episodes of Quiz, TVM’s popular quiz show broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on TVM. Bjorn Bonello, a 28-year-old from Siggiewi, who is currently working as a self-employed development planning consultant, managed to win a record amount of Lm770 in the last episode of the show. With a mix of questions from six categories together with a Lm500 bargain bonus question, and an additional two Lm100 bargain bonus questions, Mr Bonello has won the highest amount of cash so far.

During the previous two episodes of Quiz, the production team launched the “bargain bonus” whereby studio contestants and viewers can answer a question that is worth Lm100, Lm150, Lm250 or Lm500, thus making the Lm1,000 target easier to reach. During Monday’s episode of Quiz, two bargain bonus questions were included, giving the contestant a chance to win more than Lm1,000 in this series of three programmes.

“We are truly living up to our slogan ‘Easy Questions, Easy Money’ during this TV season. After just nine episodes of Quiz, more than Lm1,500 has been won, and there is a total of Lm4,000 up for grabs during November, courtesy of The Bargain Magazine. This excludes the special “Double your Money!” edition in which contestants can win Lm2,000 in just one episode of Quiz. This means that a potential of Lm6,000 can be won in the next four weeks!” said brainbox director Sabrina Mulligan.

Produced by brainbox, Karl Stagno-Navarra hosts Quiz on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on TVM.
