Bank of Valletta has sponsored the second State of the Construction Industry Report published by the Building Industry Consultative Council (BICC).

The report, covering the calendar year 2005, provides a thorough analysis of available statistical information supported by direct response from stakeholders with a view to relay a basis for consultation.

In response to the public reactions to the first BICC State of the Industry Report, which was also sponsored by BOV, this year’s edition features a number of new areas bearing direct relevance to the industry. These include Health and Safety, the implications of the Construction Products Directive, Environmental Considerations and Energy Efficiency.

The bank’s sponsorship was presented by Michael Galea, head of PR, Communication & Corporate Branding at Bank of Valletta, to Robert Musumeci, chairman of the BICC during the launch of the Report.
