Five years ago APS Bank took on the sponsorship of a four-year cultural project consisting of four concerts that focused on 18th, 19th and 20th century sacred music.

Encouraged by its highly-successful four-year concert cycle, and as part of its ongoing commitment to Maltese society and its cultural heritage, APS Bank has decided to organise another four-year cycle of annual concerts.

This year, APS Bank will be sponsoring another High Mass of the 19th century that will be held at St John’s Co-Cathedral on Friday 1 December starting at 7.30pm, and last about 90 minutes. The concert, directed by Rev. Mro John Galea, under the patronage of His Grace the Archbishop of Malta, will feature a Messa Grande for soli, chorus and orchestra by Giuseppe Spiteri Fremond (1804–1878).
