A man was yesterday charged with fraud and misappropriation to the detriment of a man from Birkirkara.

Before magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera, Darren Paul Degabriele, 27, from Birzebbuga, pleaded not guilty to defrauding Anthony Camilleri and misappropriating his money.

Police Inspector Maurice Curmi prosecuted while Dr Franco Debono appeared for the accused.
