Maltese shooter William Chetcuti placed ninth from among 68 Double Trap shooters from all over the world in the International Sport Shooting Federation World Cup in Lonato, Italy.

William shot rounds of 44, 45 and 47 for a total of 136 clays from 150.

This score placed William ninth overall, three targets away from qualifing among the top six barage finalists.

J. Richmond of USA won the gold medal and an Olympic quota with142+49, that is,191

V. Focker of Russia won the silver medal with 140+48 –188

D. Dispigno of Italy won the bronze medal with 139+48 –187
