The world’s second largest yacht, the Prince Abdulaziz, was recently on a one-day stay at the Manoel Island Marina. The 147-metre luxury yacht, belonging to the late King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, was in Malta for bunkering and other services.

It was not the yacht’s first visit to Malta, although it is the first time she has berthed in the private Manoel Island Marina.

“We have steadily built a good reputation for offering high standards and this is now widely acknowledged throughout the Mediterranean,” said Pierre Balzan, director of the Melita Marine Group. “The location of the Manoel Island Marina, coupled with the level of services we give, makes our Marina a good option for megayachts and gigayachts.”

The marina has also played host to numerous luxury yachts like the Pelours (125m), Senses (70m), Asteria (65m), Le Grand Blu (90m), and World Is Not Enough (50m).
