His full-time job in the media gave Ryan the opportunity to work on various TV productions. Due to great talent, and his charming character. He is at present hosting the TV series Generation on the new local station Favourite Channel on Tuesdays at 9pm.

How old are you? Star sign and date of birth?

I am 23, my star sign is Pisces, and I was born on 28 February 1985.

What would you like to be doing in 10 years’ time?

I want to continue developing my career in the media and broadcasting but particularly I want to reach a stage whereby I could help young people to exploit their talents and grasp the right opportunities to succeed. I believe that locally we have talent but we lack the necessary support. On a personal note, perhaps I would find my love by then and get married... why not?

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Experiencing perfect happiness is not easy nowadays. Its unbelievable how many

people around you could spoil your day but I live day by day and for me perfect happiness means being at peace with oneself and with whoever you come across during the day.

What is your favourite occupation?

My jobs have always been associated with the media. I always wanted to be involved in this genre as it brings you close to creativity and innovation. Presently, I am working on new projects for TV and this gives me great satisfaction in developing my character: assertive and determined.

Significant other?

Not yet. Need to do some more searching...

What is your greatest fear?

Solitude. I really cannot stand the thought that one day I might end up alone. Although on second thoughts it could hardly happen to me because I am always surrounded by

people...

What is it that you most value in your friends?

The Maltese saying goes il-hbieb sal-bieb (keep your friends at the door step) but I believe that a true friend is a treasure. I have lots of friends but very few of them are my true friends, the ones who stand by me when I need them or when I am in

difficulty.

How would you like to die?

I hate thinking about death. I wish I could die before my dearest ones. But then again, once you asked me, I wish to die in peace and serenity. That’s why I want to have a white funeral: people dressed in white, white flowers, white coffin.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Fashion. I always follow the latest trends and enjoy buying stylish clothes and accessories of renowned fashion brands.

What is your greatest regret?

I cannot think of any in particular... but I always learn something out of my own

experience irrespective whether it’s positive or negative.

What is your most treasured possession?

My childhood days – I have great memories of an enjoyable time with my grandparents. I really treasure that phase in my life – it is under lock and key in my heart forever.

Which talent would you most like to have apart from the ones you already have?

I would love to be a singer or musician. At a young age I started playing the guitar and my voice is not that bad, for some reason I did not pursue this career... perhaps I did not have someone driving me to take it seriously.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

When you don’t leave space for the Lord in your life.

Where would you like to live?

Any city but would prefer London.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Loyalty, sincerity and

humility.

Who are your heroes/heroines in real life?

Those who experience success despite their poor start.

What is it that you most dislike?

Mediocrity.

What is your motto?

Believe that all dreams will one day come true.
