Suzanne Wadge discovered her love for music at Junior College where she was regularly joining impromptu guitar jamming sessions with friends. The first stage experiences were made at the Sixth Form Soirée and in Salad Days, a musical produced and set up by Junior College. She has also had the opportunity to sing as a soloist in the 2000 and 2002 editions of Voices and for three editions of Teatru Unplugged with Luage, a jazz/fusion band named Quadrophonic and in the Funk outfit directed by Renzo Spiteri in the 2007 edition of the event. With Quadrophonic she also took part in the Malta EU accession celebrations on the jazz stage in 2004.
Since then Suzanne has been performing music semi-professionally for corporate functions, weddings, private parties, at hotels cafés and bars. She is currently performing as a lead singer with local bands New Harmonics and as a guest singer with the jazz/funk outfit Funkool. She hopes to keep on singing and performing up until “my voice goes croaky with old age”.
Suzanne is currently rehearsing for the role of Sandy in Porn – The musical which will be taking place at the MITP in Valletta on the first two weekends of March. She will be playing the part of a professional porn star with a sensitive soul and with highly developed romantic notions who finds true love from an unexpected source.
