Today a selection of 21 Maltese lawyers will be heading to Antalya, Turkey to represent the legal profession in an international football tournament organized for lawyers under the auspices of Mundiavocat, an international association of lawyers. The tournament will take place over a period of 8 days and will see 75 different teams from all over the globe including the continents of Europe, Asia and South. America compete against each other for the honours.

When contacted, Chef de Mission Dr George Hyzler said the team was looking forward and was well prepared for a great tournament. On behalf of all his colleagues he wished to thank all the persons, football clubs and companies who assisted and supported the team.

Special thanks were also due to the sponsors and the Malta Football Association. A short booklet was published to commemorate the event, whilst also promoting the treasures and advantages our island offers, and will be distributed to all participants of the tournament.

Dr Hyzler finished by saying “I trust that this year’s participation will be successful and that positive results will be recorded by the La Vallette team.”
