The Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation has announced that two tenders, both regarding the street lighting fixtures at the Valletta bus terminus have been opened.

Five offers have been made for Tender GHRC 004/2011 – BT for the Supply and Delivery of Luminaires (Decorative and Feature Lighting) at the New Bus Terminus Project (Phase 1), Valletta while four offers have been made for Tender GHRC 003/2011 – BT for the Supply and Delivery of poles and Pole-Mounted Luminaries (Street Lighting) at the New Bus Terminus Project (Phase 1), Valletta.

In tender 003 (poles and pole-mounted luminaries the following companies have tendered (prices in brackets): C Fino & Sons Ltd (€51,000); Apex Interiors (€36,000); Calleja Ltd (€33,000); and Brighter Solutions Ltd (€30,000).

In tender 004 (Luminaires – Decorative and Feature Lighting)the following companies have tendered (prices in brackets): Brighter Solutions Ltd (€55,000); Calleja Ltd (€24,000); Apex Interiors Ltd (€45,000); OK Ltd (€32,000) and Elektra Ltd presented three options (€21,000, €22,000 and €31,000).

All bid bonds are valid.
