The Grand Harbour Regeneration Corporation yesterday announced that Tender GHRC CG 04/2011, for Supply and Installation of Site Wide Vertical Transportation at City Gate Project, Valletta has been opened and two offers were found.

Titan International Ltd submitted an offer for €1.114 million while BlB Joint Venture submitted an offer for €835,000. Both bid-bonds were valid.

In another announcement last week, GHRC announced that Tender GHRC 04/2011\FSE for Restoration and other Works at Fort St Elmo, Valletta has now been administratively and technically adjudicated and the Evaluation Board is recommending that this tender is awarded to Forte JV.

There were seven tenders in all (listed in descending order): Forte JV (€3.9 million), Renovation of Malta Group JV (3.9 million), Sant Iermu JV (€4.456 million), CAVV Allieri JV (€4.676 million), Operes Srl (€4.831 million) FortRes St Elmo JV (€5.199 million) and FSE JV (€5.717 million).
