Five delegates from the Breast Care Support Group Europa Donna Malta attended the eighth European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC) in Vienna last week, at which there were some 6,000 delegates from all over the world.

Gertrude Abela, president of the Malta group and member of the executive board of Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition, chaired a session on ‘Survivorship’.

Vice-president Doris Fenech gave a presentation on patients’ perspective on issues and needs as part of an abstract on ‘Advocating for Metastatic Breast Cancer’.
