Thirty contestants will soon be vying for the title of Miss World Malta, the winner flying to Ordos in Mangolia, China for the Miss World Contest. The lucky girl will be spending a month together with 120 other girls from all over the world competing in this year’s finals, which will be held on 17 August.

The organisers, Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja, say they are very satisfied with this year’s turnout.

The final night, which will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta on Saturday, 14 April will also be transmitted live on Net TV at 9pm. The winner will be crowned by Marie Claire Busuttil, the reigning Miss World Malta.

For all those who would like to get to know the contestants, a special programme entitled Ordos… Miss World Malta 2012 will start showing on Net TV from 21 April at 8.30pm.

Various fashion outlets namely Mangano, Beaver, List Roma, Baci Lingerie and Ivory & Co. will be participating on the night showing their latest collections.

Other titles will be awarded during the evening namely Miss Spinning, Beauty with a Purpose, Face Golden Rose and Miss Personality.
