At its meeting on Thursday, the Mepa board is due to consider and decide on three applications for the long-needed consolidation, conservation and adaptation of the historic Fort St Angelo.

The board is also due to consider the demolition of the abandoned Eros guesthouse in St Paul’s Bay and the construction in its stead of garages, shops, apartments and penthouses.

First on the agenda are three items determination of which has been put off following a deferral. One of these regards Villa Fieres at St Julian’s, and the other two regard an Area of Containment in Qormi.
