In a tight encounter, Sirens Ritter Sport and San Giljan Giuseppe’s faced off to decide which team would be making the final four in the playoff standings. The first session was a close affair with Sirens edging it 4-3 but a brutality exclusion for Dino Zammit saw San Giljan come back from a three goal deficit during the second session.
The third session saw San Giljan come back with excellent prowess winning 4-1 to take a two goal lead into the final session. This ended 2-2 with San Giljan controlling the game largely through Cutajar and Karl Galea to pip Sirens to a playoff spot in 4th place.

With third place in the playoffs already secured, 3CX Exiles had little interest in their encounter against Marsascala meat.com.mt which started off at a slow pace. The first session surprisingly went Marsascala’s favour 2-1 but in the second session Exiles recovered to take a 3-2 lead at the half way mark.
The third session was a lively affair with exiles increasing their lead to three goals as they won it 4-2 with Vassallo and Peter Borg scoring regularly. The final session was a rout for Exiles who won it 4-0 with Vassallo, Pace Lupi and Borg excelling for a final score of 11-4.

As expected, in the final game of the afternoon, Neptunes Emirates maintained their 100 per cent record trouncing bottom club Valletta Dhaliaby . The first session ended 6-1 in favour of Neptunes with Camilleri and Stellini scoring regularly while the second session was a more moderate 2-0 with Valletta just keeping the score down.
The third session continued business as usual for Neptunes who won 4-1 to make the final session a mere formality. This ended 2-1 in favour of Neptunes for a final score of 14-3.
