The Welfare of consumers

The Consumer Affairs Council will be organising a half day conference between 8.30am and 1pm at the Hotel Dolmen, Qawra on 26 April. The subject of the conference is The Regulatory Authorities – furthering the welfare of consumers.

During this conference, speakers from the Broadcasting Authority, Malta Competition & Consumer Affairs Authority, Malta Environment and Planning Authority, Malta Resources Authority, Malta Tourism Authority and Transport Malta will give presentations highlighting the work they carry out in the interest of consumers.

This conference is intended to increase awareness about the role of the various authorities and entities in protecting and advising consumers with respect to the market sectors falling under their respective responsibilities.

You are hereby cordially invited to attend the conference which will be opened by Minister for Fair Competition, Small Business and Consumers Jason Azzopardi.

A light lunch will be served at the end of the conference. Attendance is free of charge.
