The Nationalist Party accused Labour leader Joseph Muscat of gross irresponsibility in not taking any action about Labour councillor Jimmy Calleja assaulting an elderly woman in hospital. 

An official report about the case said that Mr Calleja was found holding the woman by the face and shaking her. Dr Muscat has not taken any steps although it is four days since the matter became public, the PN said.
