The Bank of Valletta Winter League enters its final phase this weekend with the semi-finals being played today at the National Pool at Tal-Qroqq.

In the first match, Neptunes Emirates will be playing against their Balluta Bay rivals San Giljan Giuseppe’s, while in the second match, Sliema McDonalds face 3CX Exiles.

The fixtures show that the two local giants, Neptunes and Sliema, are firm favourites to win their encounters to reach the final which is to be played on a best of three between 4 and 8 May.

For the record, Neptunes had finished first, Sliema second, Exiles third and San Giljan fourth.

The programme this afternoon starts with the decider for fifth and sixth places between Sirens Ritter Sport and Marsascala meat.com.mt
