The European Conference for Justice and Peace held an international workshop and a general assembly in Malta with “The Arab Spring – a year after” as its theme.

The meetings took place at the Seminary in Tal-Virtu and were attended by more than 40 participants from 30 European countries. The local conference was organised by the Maltese Church’s own Justice and Peace Commission.

Foreign Minister Tonio Borg and former foreign minister George Vella as well as the local Imam were among the speakers.
