Shooting: Bozidmar Dimitrov Wins Belsun Skeet Trophy

Bozidmar Dimitrov was the overall winner of The Belsun Skeet Trophy.

This was a competition which was held yesterday, and was organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation (MSSF) in the association’s shooting ranges in Bidnija.

This competition was on 50 clays Skeet and another 25 clays barrage finals.

Bizidmar Dimitrov placed first with 43 hits in the first round, with a further 24 hits in the final barrage.

Noel Scicluna also had the same number of hits at the end of the final barrage, hitting 44 in the first round and 24 in the final barrage, for a total of 67 clays.

A shoot-off had to be held to decide the winner, in which Dimitrov was the winner hitting 2 clays.

On the other hand, Noel Scicluna had to make do with second place having hit only one clay in the shoot-off.

Third and fourth place also had to be decided by a shoot-off. Paul Vella placed third with 63 hits, with 40 in the first round and a further 23 in the final barrage.

Jason Agius also placed third with 63 hits, having 44 in the first round and 19 in the final barrage for a total of 63.

In the shoot-off, Paul Vella placed third having hit one clay.

Jason Agius on the other hand came fourth, having mis-hit his chance in the shoot-off.
