Autopsy confirms death due to stab wounds

The Hungarian woman who was stabbed in her home in St Paul’s Bay died of hypovelmic shock due to stab wounds, the police said Wednesday.

The woman, 38, mother of two children, was hit in various parts of her body, and was dead when the police were asked to intervene.

The man who was also injured during the incident is still in hospital receiving treatment.

Magistrate Edwina Grima is conducting an inquiry.
